Kawaihoa Foundation Scholarship Program
Guidelines
TO THE APPLICANT:
This scholarship packet is to be used by students applying for a
Kawaihoa Foundation Scholarship. What follows is a detailed
explanation of the program and the criteria for qualification.
Please read all the information and follow the instructions
carefully. Completed packets must be submitted to the Kawaihoa
Foundation Scholarship Program address shown on the forms.
Incomplete packets will not be considered.
KAWAIHOA FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP CRITERIA
Applicant Must Meet All Criteria

Applicant must be a registered student of a school
and/or organization recognized and sanctioned by the Kawaihoa
Foundation.

Award is based on academic, technical and aptitude
development, written application and recommendations submitted to the
Kawaihoa Foundation Scholarship Program.

Award is for half the monthly tuition for one year.

The award recipient will be required to remain an
active student for that period.

The award will be applied to tuition only.

Two scholarships will be awarded per calendar
year. Check will be made payable and mailed directly to the
school and/or organization.

Scholarship award recipient must maintain the
following requirements:
Pass all tests with a minimum A grade
Have no unexcused absences
Participate in all School and/or Organization activities
Volunteer for School and/or Organization activities
Volunteer for School and/or Organization Administrative duties

Failure to fulfill any of these requirements and
criteria will result in loss of some or all of the award.

The applicants' financial need will be taken into
consideration.

The Kawaihoa Foundation Scholarship is NOT
RENEWABLE. The award is for a one-year term only.
